Job Summary
To support the operations of non-nuclear generation assets, the remote Kentucky Licensed Assistant General Counsel will manage complex legal matters, provide strategic legal support, and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as principal legal advisor for non-nuclear generation assets, focusing on compliance and risk management
- Draft and negotiate complex operational agreements, including fuel supply and construction contracts
- Provide legal support during operational events and assist in mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory approvals
Required qualifications
- 8 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law
- LLB or JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdictions
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal principles and the ability to analyze complex legal materials
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent legal research and analytical abilities
