Job Summary
To support a dynamic biology department, the part-time Kentucky Licensed Biology Instructor will teach undergraduate courses in human anatomy and physiology while collaborating with colleagues and providing feedback to students in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach introductory biology courses, including Human Anatomy and Physiology
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Biology department and the broader university community
- Adapt course materials and provide timely feedback on student work
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a medical field or closely related biology degree with at least 18 hours of Biology coursework in anatomy and physiology
- Experience teaching college-level biology courses, particularly in anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with virtual lab software, such as Labster
- Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and student-centered learning
- Ongoing professional development in the field
