Job Summary
Providing emergency assistance and support to military members and their families, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Caseworker will manage client interactions, assess needs, and coordinate services while working remotely on a third shift schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Key responsibilities
- Interview callers and coordinate requests for service, including recording client information and determining eligibility for assistance
- Compose and deliver emergency communication messages to military locations and provide follow-up actions for timely client service
- Collaborate with other Red Cross units to ensure comprehensive case management and support for clients in distress
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including one year in a social service agency or contact center
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the military community
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong communication skills, with a typing speed of 40 wpm or higher
