Job Summary

To support a dedicated team in a positive working environment, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Financial Specialist will manage insurance verification, authorization requests, and communication with front office staff in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Completes accurate and timely insurance verification and enters data into EMR software
• Ensures services scheduled have approved authorization prior to service
• Communicates efficiently with front office staff to maintain a clean billing process and escalate financial clearance risks as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of patient account management experience in a hospital or physician practice setting is preferred
• Basic accounting skills are required
