Kentucky Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the fully remote Kentucky Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup while navigating insurance requirements and confirming eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
• Work with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete documentation and ensure timely care

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a related field, such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare organizations, pharmacies, or Medicare-certified environments is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
