Job Summary
To support healthcare referral decisioning workflows, the contract JavaScript Developer will design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express, working remotely from Kentucky for an initial duration of 8 months with potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
- Develop APIs that support specialty referral decisioning workflows, including provider matching and notifications
- Implement complex business rules and decision-logic engines within backend services
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional Node.js and Express experience
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and JSON schema validation
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Experience with Prisma, PgAdmin, and Liquibase
- Proven experience building and maintaining production REST APIs
