Kentucky Licensed Legal Counsel
Job Summary
To support APM's growth as a leading human services provider, a full-time Kentucky Licensed Legal Counsel will manage legal work related to corporate governance, compliance, and contract management while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and draft contracts, leases, and agreements, ensuring effective risk management
- Support corporate governance activities and assist with compliance related to corporate registrations and licensing
- Manage pre-litigation disputes and collaborate with outside counsel on litigation and administrative claims
Required qualifications
- Licensed in good standing in home state with the ability to gain corporate counsel status in Kentucky
- Experience in commercial contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and review
- Essential knowledge of employment or labor law
- Experience working in a multinational corporate group or law firm is desired
- Understanding of property law is a plus
