Kentucky Licensed Liability Specialist

Job Summary

Handling complex Home and Auto liability claims remotely, the Kentucky Licensed Liability Specialist will conduct investigations, evaluate coverage and liability, and negotiate resolutions while providing technical guidance to less experienced staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and evaluate coverage and liability for claims
• Negotiate with all parties involved within designated authority
• Document claims files and identify subrogation opportunities

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with five years of claims-related experience, or an associate degree with three years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with one year of experience
• Working knowledge of liability coverages, laws, injury evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and claim documentation
• Kentucky Adjuster License required; must be willing to obtain if not currently held
• Associate in Claims (AIC), Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA), or related designation preferred
• Ability to secure and maintain dual or multiple licenses as business needs require
