Job Summary

To ensure the integrity of billing and coding processes, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Medical Coder will work remotely, serving as a liaison between the practice and the billing office while applying age-appropriate principles for patients across all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Assure the accuracy of billing, insurance, coding, and accounting functions for the Norton Medical Group
• Act as a liaison between the practice and the billing office, facilitating communication and resolving issues
• Utilize age-appropriate principles of growth and development in coding practices for diverse patient populations

Required qualifications

• One year of medical coding experience in a specialty office
• Certification as CCA, CCS, CIC-ICD, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
