Job Summary

To support outpatient services, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Scheduler will manage scheduling for diagnostic testing and procedures, provide pre-procedure instructions, and handle appointment requests in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient diagnostic testing and interventional procedures for adult and pediatric facilities
• Instruct patients and doctor's offices on pre-procedure preparations and obtain necessary demographic and insurance information
• Handle a high volume of appointment requests via phone and an Epic work queue while delivering exceptional customer service

Required qualifications

• One year of experience scheduling tests and procedures in a hospital or physician office setting
• Understanding of medical terminology and knowledge of clinical procedures and ICD-10 codes
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
