Knowledge Manager
Job Summary
To enhance service delivery and operational efficiency, the part-time Knowledge Manager will develop and maintain enterprise knowledge assets, ensuring access to accurate information while working primarily remotely with occasional on-site visits.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a long-term knowledge management roadmap aligned with strategic goals and technology mandates
- Establish collaborative platforms to support knowledge sharing and capture legacy knowledge
- Identify and integrate knowledge resources across various systems and promote a culture of collaboration
Required qualifications
- Degree in Library and Information Science, Knowledge Management, Information Science, or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications such as Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS), ITIL, or KM specialty certifications preferred
- Advanced skills in research, information analysis, and validation
- Experience developing taxonomies and content classification strategies
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal data, privacy, and copyright regulations
