Job Summary
Supporting NCDIT in a mostly remote capacity, the Knowledge Manager will develop, manage, and enhance enterprise knowledge assets to improve service delivery and operational efficiency across state agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute an enterprise Knowledge Management roadmap aligned with strategic goals
- Identify, collect, validate, and maintain knowledge from subject matter experts and documentation repositories
- Establish processes for knowledge capture, retention, and transition of legacy knowledge
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Library & Information Science, Information Science, Knowledge Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 5+ years of experience in knowledge management, information management, or related disciplines
- 5+ years of experience with taxonomy, metadata, and content classification
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of project management fundamentals
- Experience with public-sector or enterprise service environments preferred
