Kubernetes Architect
Job Summary
Operating multi-cloud platform infrastructure, the full-time HPC Kubernetes Architect will manage Kubernetes platforms at scale, provision HPC infrastructure, and oversee job scheduling while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Operate Kubernetes platforms (EKS, CKS, GKE) and manage cluster lifecycle, node pool, and networking policy
- Provision HPC infrastructure through CI/CD systems across various cloud providers
- Define SLIs/SLOs, build monitoring and alerting systems, and participate in incident response and post-incident reviews
Required qualifications
- 4+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, or HPC
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters at significant scale
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, EFS, FSx for Lustre)
- Experience with Python for tooling and automation
