Kubernetes Developer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Apigee + Kubernetes Developer, the full-time position will design, develop, and support API solutions in a cloud-native environment while managing containerized applications and ensuring API security.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement APIs using Apigee Edge/Apigee X, including API proxies and lifecycle management
- Develop and deploy microservices-based applications on Kubernetes, managing resources like Deployments and Services
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and monitor API performance, troubleshooting production issues to optimize reliability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with the Google Apigee API Management Platform and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization
- Experience implementing API security controls, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT Authentication
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana
