Kubernetes Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Kubernetes Engineer to assist Application/Data teams in managing and optimizing Kubernetes environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for software installation, upgrades, configuration, and system monitoring
- Manage and upgrade OpenShift and Mirantis Kubernetes engine, implementing automation tools for deployment and monitoring
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and scaling cloud infrastructure, participating in production support activities
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in server builds, Kubernetes, and Docker, preferably with Mirantis and OpenShift
- Proficiency in Python and/or Shell Scripting and Linux
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant work experience may substitute for degree
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
