Kubernetes Engineer with IASAE II Certification
Job Summary
To support a growing technology team, the full-time remote Kubernetes Engineer with IASAE II Certification will manage and orchestrate containerized applications, focusing on cloud-based microservices architecture in AWS EKS, while automating deployment processes and ensuring system performance and security.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes deployments, ensuring scalability and reliability of applications
- Automate deployment processes and improve operational efficiency through effective scaling strategies
- Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications
- BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited institution
- IASAE II certification (CASP+CE, CLSSP associate) or CSSLP, or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, including CNI plugins and ingress controllers
- Experience with tools such as Helm and Kustomize for managing Kubernetes applications
