KYC Analyst
Job Summary
As the first KYC Analyst in a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will manage onboarding and review processes for new account applications, ensuring compliance with KYC regulations while helping to shape the function's development within the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Own the onboarding and review decisions for new applications, setting standards for KYC files
- Improve procedures and document processes to enhance efficiency and quality in manual reviews
- Research and validate customer information, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience in KYC, customer due diligence, or a related financial crimes role
- Working knowledge of KYC/CDD requirements and BSA/AML obligations
- Experience with public source research and screening for adverse media, sanctions, and PEP exposure
- Strong written communication skills for summarizing complex findings clearly
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
