Job Summary
Serving as the primary client-facing linguistic expert, the freelance English to Kyrgyz Review Lead will manage quality standards across UI, marketing, and product content while working remotely from approved countries and dedicating approximately 24 hours per month to the role.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze style guide updates and assess their impact on quality categories and content types
- Conduct regular alignment roundtables with the language community and publish monthly quality digests
- Coach Reviewers and deliver training based on real alignment data to improve review quality
Required qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance or related roles
- Direct experience managing client Language Managers and facilitating conflict resolution
- Deep understanding of localization evaluation frameworks and quality audit processes
- Ability to analyze style guide changes and identify client expectations by content type
- Native-level proficiency in Kyrgyz and professional-level proficiency in English
