Lab Manager II
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lab Manager II to oversee and maintain a complex test lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee lab and all networking gear, including switches, routers, hardware servers, and virtual machines
- Work with QA/Dev teams to ensure lab equipment is configured, updated, and maintained
- Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets and monitor lab infrastructure for faults and failures
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a related field and a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with networking devices, hardware servers, and virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and server management
- Experience in capacity planning and translating development and QA requirements into infrastructure delivery
- Experience with automation tools and scripting, such as Bash or Python
