Labeling Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting accurate and compliant labeling for food products, the fully remote Labeling Compliance Specialist will review artwork, evaluate ingredient changes, and ensure adherence to USDA/FSIS and FDA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review artwork, pack copy, and ingredient statements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Confirm that approved label information aligns with current formulations and production specifications
• Prepare and maintain documentation for label submissions, approvals, and regulatory inquiries

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Two or more years of experience in food labeling, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance
• Working knowledge of FDA and USDA/FSIS labeling regulations and requirements
• Strong skills in proofreading, document control, and project management
• Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines with high accuracy
