Laboratory Systems Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting laboratory system implementations remotely, the part-time Laboratory Systems Specialist will execute GLP validation activities, manage system lifecycle activities, and develop documentation for laboratory systems over a 12-18 month assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute GLP validation activities for laboratory data acquisition systems, including validation plans and reports
• Manage system lifecycle activities, including change controls, updates, and decommissioning of retired systems
• Develop and maintain SOPs, system requirements, and documentation for laboratory systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or regulated laboratory environment
• Experience with Watson LIMS is required
• Knowledge of GLP/GxP validation and laboratory systems lifecycle management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and data tools such as Power BI
