Job Summary
To support premier Technical Marketing localization pipelines, the freelance Language Lead - English to Slovak will define quality standards, manage a remote team of translators, and collaborate with global stakeholders to optimize workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain quality standards for English to Slovak localization streams
- Lead and mentor a remote team of freelance translators, providing feedback and training
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering teams to troubleshoot localization challenges
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing localization, with 2+ years in a Language Lead or LQA Specialist role
- Current residency in Slovakia with experience in Slovak-language content
- Proficiency in advanced translation management systems and CAT tools
- Strong organizational and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
