Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Large Loss Property Desk Adjuster will investigate and confirm facts of loss for homeowners claims, determining coverage and damages while adjusting and negotiating claims within their authority.

Key responsibilities

• Handles investigations regarding all aspects of homeowners first-party claims, exercising discretion and independence
• Applies increased experience or specializes in areas such as coverage, investigation, litigation, or large loss
• Partners with representatives on claims involving fraud or subrogation to achieve optimal outcomes

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in property claims adjusting, particularly with large loss claims
• Strong understanding of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems
• Knowledge of insurance policies and industry standards
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Experience collaborating with fraud or subrogation teams
