Law Academic Consultant

Job Summary

Providing expert academic input, the part-time Law Academic Consultant will support the development and quality assurance of the Law, Politics & International Relations Stream, assess student essays, and deliver detailed feedback in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Offer subject-matter consultation and advice on academic content, ensuring relevance and depth
• Review academic materials for accuracy and maintain high academic standards across the Stream
• Assess student essays and provide individualized feedback, contributing to the overall educational experience

Required qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in a relevant discipline, or confirmed acceptance into a Master's program
• Deep subject knowledge in law, politics, or international relations, with familiarity in related areas
• Experience in teaching, lecturing, or assessing students at the university or sixth-form level
• Proficiency in marking written work against criteria and providing constructive feedback
• Active research or industry experience that enhances the academic perspective of the stream
