Job Summary

Supporting the Carnivore Conservation Program, the part-time or full-time hourly Law Clerk for Spring 2027 will conduct legal research and writing, assist with litigation and advocacy efforts, and collaborate with experienced attorneys in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and writing, including preparing legal memos and assisting with brief writing
• Analyze federal and state legislation related to endangered species and environmental laws
• Collaborate with coalitions and partners on advocacy efforts for wildlife conservation

Required qualifications

• Must be a law student who has completed their first or second year of law school, or a student pursuing their LLM
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Passionate about protecting wildlife and their habitats
• Background or experience in natural resources, environmental, and/or administrative law preferred
• Creativity and motivation
