Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated fall Law Clerk, Sports Law Intern to work part-time remotely, assisting the Athlete Ombuds Office with athlete outreach, research, and case-related support while promoting fairness and athlete well-being in the Olympic and Paralympic Movement.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Athlete Ombuds team with athlete matters, including background research, issue analysis, and dispute resolution
- Conduct legal and policy research on issues affecting Olympic and Paralympic athletes, such as team selection and athlete rights
- Support the development and communication of athlete-facing resources to enhance outreach and engagement
Required qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctorate degree program with at least one year completed
- Preferred coursework includes dispute resolution and sports law
- Elite level athletic background in the Olympic and Paralympic Movement is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Olympic and Paralympic Movement and relevant organizations
- Experience in dispute resolution, advocacy, and communications is a plus
