Lead Accounts Receivable

Job Summary

Leading the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable team, the full-time Lead Accounts Receivable will manage an assigned portfolio of client accounts, resolve complex billing issues, and provide coaching to team members in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the daily activities of the Accounts Receivable team while managing an assigned workload
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding claims and balances
• Research and resolve complex billing, reimbursement, denial, and payer issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of medical accounts receivable and healthcare collections experience
• Minimum of 2 years of lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, insurance billing, and reimbursement methodologies
• Experience working with physician practices and multiple commercial and government payers
