Lead Actuary, New York Licensed
Job Summary
Leading the valuation for MSSP ACO, the full-time Lead Actuary, New York Licensed, will manage the rebuilding and ownership of the valuation model, oversee monthly and quarterly financial closes, and collaborate cross-functionally to interpret MSSP data in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Rebuild, update, and own the MSSP valuation model, managing financial closes
- Set IBNR reserves and deliver monthly results for financial reporting
- Partner with Engineering and other teams to define and implement data interpretation logic
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant actuarial experience with deep domain knowledge of MSSP offerings
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Advanced spreadsheet analytical and modeling skills (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Strong data analysis skills leveraging SQL
- Experience in an ACO environment or similar is a plus
