Lead AI Data Engineer

Job Summary

To build the data foundation for a new mobile game, the fully remote Lead AI Data & Analytics Engineer will design and operate the end-to-end gameplay analytics ecosystem, define tracking and reporting architecture, and drive AI-native analytics to translate raw gameplay data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate the end-to-end gameplay analytics ecosystem, ensuring data correctness and quality
• Build AI-driven automated reporting and insight-generation workflows while evaluating AI tools and workflows for improved analytics
• Identify opportunities and trends in gameplay and player behavior to support product and design teams with data-driven recommendations

Required qualifications

• Proven experience building an analytics or data platform from scratch, including stack selection and production deployment
• Several years of experience in production environments, ideally in gaming or mobile analytics
• Deep familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows and hands-on experience with agentic workflows and AI coding tools
• Strong Python and SQL skills with the ability to independently verify outputs and manage complex datasets
• Experience designing scalable data architectures and analytical frameworks, with a strong instinct for data quality and system reliability
