Lead AI Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Lead AI Developer for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise AI solutions that enhance productivity and business value, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build AI solutions using Agentic AI, Generative AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Rapidly prototype new AI capabilities and evolve successful proofs of concept into scalable enterprise solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams while troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
- 8-10 years of software engineering, application development, or solution architecture experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/Generative AI solutions in production environments
- Strong expertise in Python development and experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-native application deployment
