Lead AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a cross-functional team, the hybrid remote Lead AI Engineer will architect and oversee the delivery of AI solutions for the Government's Enterprise AI Solution Delivery and Support Services program, ensuring compliance with security practices and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and integration of AI solutions, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and security frameworks
• Manage the Authority to Operate (ATO) process and oversee AI-specific security measures within the AI agent security framework
• Mentor team members and engage with stakeholders to advise on AI use-case feasibility and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, or a related discipline and 7+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML engineering or enterprise architecture
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI and production AI systems
• Demonstrated experience architecting secure AI solutions in FedRAMP-authorized environments
• Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, and federal compliance requirements
• At least one current certification in Generative AI or Machine Learning from recognized providers
