Job Summary
Driving the design and deployment of generative AI systems, the full-time remote Lead AI Engineer will set technical direction, lead engineering teams, and collaborate with government stakeholders to create mission-critical AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the architecture for generative AI solutions, setting engineering standards and best practices
- Design, build, and deploy multi-agent orchestration and custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
- Engage with government stakeholders to gather requirements and rapidly prototype AI solutions that demonstrate mission value
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 15 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams or serving as a technical lead on complex software initiatives
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying generative AI or agentic AI systems in operational environments
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end development, including technologies such as Python, .NET/C#, and Angular
- Experience delivering software in secure, regulated environments (e.g., ATO, FedRAMP)
