Lead AI/ML Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the development of AI-driven solutions, the full-time Lead AI/ML Engineer will own the design and deployment of production-grade software, mentor engineering teams, and evaluate emerging AI trends while working remotely or in-office in Minnesota or Washington, D.C.
Key responsibilities
- Own the discovery, technical scoping, system design, and deployment of AI models and scalable software solutions
- Lead and mentor engineering teams in the AI Development Life Cycle (AIDLC) while ensuring adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust AI capabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 10+ years of experience in the software development industry
- 5+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot
- 2+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with a proven track record in production environments
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
