Lead AI/ML Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of innovative AI/ML solutions, the full-time Lead AI/ML Engineer will evaluate emerging technologies, develop production-ready applications in AWS, and mentor engineering teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical evaluations of AI/ML technologies through prototypes and experimentation
- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI/ML applications within AWS cloud environments
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams while collaborating with federal clients
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 7-10 years of professional experience in software or cloud engineering
- At least 3 years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with AI/ML platforms and services, including Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker
