Lead AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

Owning significant pieces of AI-powered functionality in production, the full-time Lead AI/ML Engineer will design, build, and productionize machine learning systems while collaborating with product engineering squads and contributing to architectural decisions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build machine learning and agentic AI functionality for production
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into the product
• Champion responsible AI practices and ensure reliability and safety in AI systems

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or a related field with hands-on production ML delivery
• Strong software engineering skills, particularly in Python
• Direct experience building and shipping ML models or AI functionalities in production
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices for production ML/AI systems
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and their practical applications
