Lead Appian Solutions Developer
Job Summary
To support an Agile development team, the full-time remote Lead Appian Solutions Developer will manage new application development, enhancements, and production support while serving as the senior-most developer and liaison among stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute hands-on technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications in the Appian PaaS environment
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to produce functional design artifacts and ensure best practices in security model implementation
- Author systems architecture documentation and maintain developer-friendly documentation, ensuring traceability and alignment with user stories
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in solutions development
- Expert proficiency in the Appian platform with Associate Developer Certification; Senior or Lead Developer Certification preferred
- Experience with Appian version 24.1 or newer, including Synced Records and Advanced SAIL UI development
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and demonstrated capabilities in data architecture and query optimization
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
