Lead Application Modernization Consultant

Job Summary

Leading an agile delivery team remotely, the full-time Lead Application Modernization Consultant will own technical outcomes, ensure delivery quality, and enhance the developer experience while driving application modernization efforts for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead an agile delivery team or significant workstream, ensuring solutions deliver measurable business outcomes for clients
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks related to legacy dependencies and new technologies
• Drive application modernization efforts by assessing legacy codebases and recommending appropriate modernization strategies

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or application development, including 3+ years in application modernization or technical leadership
• Hands-on proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language, such as Java, .NET, or Python
• Experience leading modernization of large-scale, complex applications, including cloud-native and microservices architectures
• Strong experience designing distributed systems on Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
