Lead Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support a custom application development project in an agile environment, the remote Lead Business Analyst will elicit, define, and document user-driven requirements, manage the Product Backlog, and produce UI designs while collaborating closely with government stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Product Owners and development teams to define functional and non-functional requirements
- Produce business process models and UI mockups, ensuring alignment with user needs and best practices
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage the Product Backlog, including writing User Stories and acceptance criteria in Atlassian JIRA
Required qualifications:
- 5-8 years of Business Analysis experience, particularly in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven experience in eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements
- Strong UI/UX design skills with familiarity in design tools such as Axure and Balsamiq
- Advanced proficiency with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
- Experience in business process modeling, including knowledge of BPMN
