Lead CDN Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the architecture and operational excellence of global content delivery and edge security solutions, the full-time Lead CDN Engineer will manage enterprise-scale CDN deployments, optimize performance, and lead incident response strategies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain enterprise-scale CDN and edge delivery solutions
- Manage multi-CDN environments and advanced traffic routing strategies
- Lead DDoS protection strategies and incident response procedures
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with CDN platforms such as Akamai, Cloudflare, or Fastly
- In-depth knowledge of DNS management, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP networking, and security concepts
- Strong understanding of Web Application Firewalls, DDoS mitigation, and bot management
- Experience supporting production environments and customer-facing applications at scale
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
