Lead Cloud Architect
Job Summary
To support a dynamic Federal Cloud Modernization Program, the contract-to-hire Lead Cloud Architect will design and implement enterprise cloud solutions in a multi-cloud environment, collaborating with federal stakeholders and guiding cross-functional teams remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Translate complex requirements into innovative technical solutions while managing multi-tenant environments
- Guide DevOps/SecOps teams and integrate on-premises infrastructure with hybrid cloud solutions
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of IT and digital transformation experience, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP, including the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Jenkins
- Exceptional technical leadership skills and experience engaging with federal clients
- U.S. citizenship eligible for Public Trust clearance; cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
