Lead Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the cloud infrastructure for the Insuraviews platform, the full-time Lead Cloud Engineer will architect and manage cloud environments across GCP, AWS, and/or Azure, administer PostgreSQL databases, and ensure reliable operations while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve secure and scalable cloud environments, utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, security, and disaster recovery
- Establish monitoring and incident response protocols to maintain operational reliability and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior-level role
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and proficiency in Terraform
- Experience administering production relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
