Lead Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Lead Cloud Security Engineer for a fully remote, long-term contract role, where the successful candidate will manage security controls across cloud and enterprise environments, focusing on IAM, AWS security, and vulnerability management while collaborating with technology teams to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve security controls across cloud, infrastructure, and identity environments
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support endpoint security technologies, ensuring effective remediation of identified risks
• Collaborate with CISO and security leadership to mature the organization's Information Security program and develop security metrics and risk reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Security Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with IAM, PAM, MFA, and AWS security
• Experience with vulnerability management, endpoint security, and SIEM technologies
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and SOC 2
