Lead Configuration Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the configuration control and lifecycle governance of CAD models, BOMs, and technical documentation, the full-time Lead Configuration Engineer will ensure data integrity and alignment across engineering domains while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end configuration control for engineering artifacts within the PLM system
- Enforce ECR/ECN workflows and coordinate engineering release activities across multiple teams
- Lead cross-functional reviews and drive continuous improvement in PLM and configuration management processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of experience in PLM, configuration management, or product data governance
- Deep understanding of PLM systems and engineering change processes
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering activities across multiple disciplines
- Strong understanding of CAD, BOM, document control, and lifecycle relationships
