Lead Credit Collections Coordinator

Job Summary

Managing moderately complicated insurance denials and underpayments, the full-time Lead Credit Collections Coordinator will utilize Rubixis AR Follow Up software to resolve contract and payment issues while collaborating with team members in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Work through an assigned number of accounts from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution
• Analyze contracts, billing, and collections to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
• Investigate and resolve insurance payments that deviate from expected outcomes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hospital billing with follow-up expertise
• Advanced knowledge of Medicare payer rules and the ability to interpret denial reasons
• Experience in UB04 Facility Pricing and Reimbursement variance
• Basic understanding of healthcare HIT systems such as EPIC or Paragon
• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred
