Lead Data Analyst
Job Summary
Owning the analytical direction for a domain, the full-time Lead Data Analyst will drive metric definitions, manage a small team of data analysts, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the analytical direction for a domain, including defining canonical metrics and authoritative data sources
- Drive metric definitions into the dbt layer in collaboration with data engineering and BI
- Manage two to three data analysts, overseeing their work, growth plans, and performance evaluations
Required Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on data analysis experience, preferably as a senior analyst
- Deep SQL proficiency and experience with data warehouses and dbt models
- Experience in setting and documenting metric definitions for organizational use
- Ability to lead or manage analysts, with a focus on accountability and performance
- Strong understanding of healthcare data, PHI, and HIPAA requirements
