Lead Data Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the clinical research enterprise, the full-time Lead Data Analyst will design and develop electronic data capture systems, ensure data quality, and provide complex analysis of healthcare data while mentoring junior staff members in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of harmonized data models and database solutions
- Implement and monitor overall data governance strategy in line with organizational standards
- Mentor junior team members in data management systems and practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information science, business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive IT experience with strong database design and data architecture
- Experience with data governance and leading industrial tools for data lakes or ETL
- Proficiency in creating dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Experience providing technical guidance and mentorship within Data Engineering
