Lead Data Architect
Job Summary
Leading the design and evolution of a next-generation enterprise data platform, the full-time salaried Lead Data Architect will work remotely to establish architectural blueprints, develop scalable data pipelines in Snowflake, and collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure data accuracy and availability for analytics and decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and maintenance of enterprise data architecture aligned to business domains and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards
- Oversee the development of ELT/ETL pipelines and optimize Snowflake workloads for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data needs and mentor the data engineering team in best practices and technical processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in data architecture and engineering with technical leadership experience
- Strong expertise in data modeling and hands-on experience with enterprise data architecture
- Advanced ELT/ETL development experience, preferably with cloud-native tools
- Deep experience with cloud data warehouses, particularly Snowflake
