Job Summary
To influence architecture and lead technical direction, the remote Lead Data Engineer will design scalable ELT pipelines, mentor engineers, and shape a customer-facing analytics environment for a growing SaaS business.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize scalable ELT pipelines and data processing frameworks
- Lead architecture discussions and make recommendations based on technical trade-offs
- Mentor engineers and establish best practices across the function
Required qualifications
- Strong commercial experience with SQL and Python for Data Engineering
- Experience building and supporting large-scale ELT pipelines
- Proficiency in data modeling and data architecture
- Familiarity with orchestration technologies such as Airflow or Dagster
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience
