Job Summary
Providing hands-on technical leadership, the remote Lead Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ELT pipelines, lead data architecture initiatives, and mentor a team of engineers in a permanent role.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and data solutions
- Lead data architecture, modeling, engineering standards, and best practices
- Manage and mentor a small team of Data Engineers, supporting their development and performance
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in Data Engineering
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Deep experience with ELT, data pipelines, and large-scale data ingestion
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Previous experience managing a small Data Engineering team is required
