Lead Data Engineer
Job Summary
To establish a reliable data environment, the full-time Lead Data Engineer will design, build, and operate data infrastructure, manage data integration processes, and collaborate on Acclinate's data strategy in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design event-driven data models and architect data tables for effective data storage and accessibility
- Orchestrate data integration strategies to unify data sources for advanced analytics
- Contribute to the development of data governance frameworks and ensure data security and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines, with at least 2 years owning a data platform end to end
- Proven experience with a cloud data warehouse in production, preferably BigQuery
- Experience handling regulated health data (HIPAA/PHI) or comparable regulated data
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL and BigQuery, with familiarity in Python for data preparation and analysis
